Greater Moncton Quilt Guild
My soul is fed...
by my needle & thread.
We have a monthly meeting that is held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month
starting in September and ending in June of each year.
The meetings each month usually involve a short business meeting, show and share, tea & coffee
break (social) and a program. The program could be demonstrations, a guest speaker, work on a
project, etc…each month is different. Each month, the Block of the Month Committee presents a
new pattern for a block to sew. You make it at home and return it to the next meeting, put your
name in a box and a draw is held for all the blocks. We also have a Christmas Block and Challenge
Block project that take place throughout the year. A description of all the activities is provided in the
“Job Jar” document which is available on the Contacts page. Participation in all activities, committees
and projects is completely optional and voluntary according to your available time and interest.
